Vanadium Dioxide VO2

Epitaxial VO2 thin films are grown on single-cristalline substrates by MOCVD (from Oxyfilm, Russia) or PLD (SPCTS Limoges and Thales Research and Technology).

Piezoelectric Lithium Niobate (LiNbO3)

Lithium Niobate thin layers are being developed for manufacturing Surface Acoustic Wave devices (RF filters) and Electro-optic modulators (see last picture).


« Ultra-fast » electronic devices

RF switches

VO2 based RF switch « serie » exhibit insertion losses less than 0,5 dB and -30 dB isolation as measured at 10 GHz for the simple thermally activated device. The time switching depends on the activation control.
